Get Your Ski Bag Ready with Snocool
Heading to Tignes, Val d’Isère or Sainte-Foy for your ski holiday with Snocool? Excellent choice – you’re about to experience an unforgettable mountain adventure! But to make the most of it, you’ll need to pack smart. Here’s our ultimate ski holiday checklist to ensure you don’t forget a thing.
Ski Essentials You Shouldn’t Leave Behind
When packing, think comfort and practicality. Weather in the Alps can shift quickly, and temperatures can drop fast. Here’s what you’ll need:
Technical clothing & ski accessories
- Ski jacket: warm and waterproof, or go for a three-layer system if you prefer
- Ski trousers: with integrated gaiters to keep your legs dry
- Thermal base layers: merino wool is best – warm, breathable, and odour-resistant
- Fleece or light down mid-layer
- Ski socks (2–3 pairs): thick and knee-high
- Warm, waterproof ski gloves
- Hat or headband
- Ski goggles
- High SPF sun cream, lip balm, and sunglasses
- Helmet (a must-have!)
- Passport and European Health Insurance Card (if travelling from abroad)
Daily Essentials for the Slopes
Here’s what to keep in your lightweight ski backpack each day:
- Spare sunglasses
- Sparelenses for your ski goggles (for sun / snow / fog)
- Water bottle – high altitudes = dry air, so hydrate often
- Thingloves for après-ski
- Neck warmer or Buff
- Warm après-ski boots: waterproof with good grip
