Age & Learning to Ski

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO ENROLL A CHILD IN SKI LESSONS?

At Snocool, we welcome children from age 3 in private 30-minute lessons (1 child / 1 instructor).
The KIDZ 4 program, designed for little ones, limits groups to a maximum of 4 children to ensure safety and fun.

Can my 3-Year-Old learn to ski?

Yes! We have a number of instructors who love teaching young children. These lessons are conducted one-on-one: one child per instructor, ensuring full attention and progress at the child’s own pace.

Each session lasts 30 minutes — the perfect duration for a first introduction to skiing, without excessive fatigue or long separation from parents.

What’s the Ideal Age for First Ski Lessons?

The best age is between 4 and 6, when children develop balance, coordination, and independence. But every child is unique—our instructors adapt to their pace and personality.

Snowboarding & Other Disciplines

Do You Offer Snowboard Lessons for Kids?

Snowboarding for kids starts at age 8.
Before that, skiing is physically easier and a better introduction to snow sports.

Are There Snowboard Lessons for 3–6-Year-Olds?
