Organisation & How It Works

Where Is Your Ski School Located?

Our ski and snowboard instructors are present in all three resorts: Tignes, Val d’Isère, and Sainte-Foy Tarentaise.
The meeting point is confirmed upon booking, depending on the lesson type.

Should I Book in Advance?

Yes! Especially during school holidays, our group and private lessons often sell out weeks ahead.
We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your spot.

👉 Book your lessons now

How Does Payment Work?

Payment is made online via our secure platform.
The full amount is required to confirm your booking.

What Happens in Bad Weather?

Lessons are held as scheduled in all weather conditions unless safety conditions require cancellation.
Mountain weather changes quickly but it’s rare for classes to be cancelled.
If the resort closes all the lifts for security reasons, we’ll offer a reschedule or refund.

Is the Ski Pass Included in the Lesson Price?

No, the ski pass is not included.
Beginners don’t need a pass for the first day until the instructor decides you’re ready to explore the mountain.
All other levels require a ski pass.

At What Age Can I Enroll My Child?

Children can start skiing from age 3 (e.g., KIDZ 4 program, max 4 kids).
For snowboarding, we recommend age 7+ for better coordination and balance.

How Many Lessons Does a Beginner Need?

On average, 3 to 5 lessons are enough to gain independence on green runs.
However, this depends on age, fitness, and motivation—our instructors adjust the pace for each student.

Do You Offer Snowboard Lessons?

Yes! Our specialised snowboard instructors provide private or group lessons in Tignes, Val d’Isère, and Sainte-Foy.

Can I Ski Without Taking Lessons?

You can, but for a first-time experience, professional instruction is highly recommended.
It helps you learn essential techniques, build confidence, and ensure safety.

Do You Offer Adult Beginner Lessons?

Absolutely! Our private adult lessons are designed for learning at any age in a reassuring and stimulating environment.
Many of our students start skiing after 40 with great success!

What Are the Ski Levels in France?

We use the ESi medal system: Mouse, Crystal, Bronze, Silver, Vermillion, Gold, Run medals for freeriders, etc.
These benchmarks help us create balanced groups for smooth progression.

When Does My Child Receive Their Medal?

An ESi medal is awarded at the end of each week of children’s group lessons, based on the level achieved.
Assessments are ongoing, ensuring a gentle, motivating, and rewarding approach.
