The resort sits at 1,550 metres and temperatures are often colder than in Val d’Isère or Tignes, helping the snow stay fresh for longer. The resort is also equipped with snow cannons to guarantee good snow cover from the beginning of the season.
An important advantage of Sainte-Foy is that even when neighbouring resorts struggle with conditions, Sainte-Foy often keeps very good snow quality, especially in the forest areas and at higher altitude.

Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise has two free magic carpets that are perfect for beginners and first-time skiers.
Once these beginner areas are mastered, the Plan Bois slope is ideal for progressing further. It is a beautiful beginner run: long, gentle and winding almost flat through the forest. The atmosphere is magical and offers a real mountain experience.
